Mother and Child

About
I found an illustration called, "Mother and Child" by Jason Kim, and have been wanting to make this for a few years now. My main focus on this project was learning some basics with Substance Painter and Substance designer and make a fun environment.
The girl was modeled by Erin Caswell

Software: Maya, Zbrush, Arnold, Xgen, Photoshop, Substance Painter

Progress Shots

These were captures before starting to work on the shaders and textures. They were progress shots to show the modeled scene at the time.

These are images from when I was working on the hair. This was my first project making hair for a character and it was a learning experience. I used Xgen Interactive and even though it took a few tries, it was really fun to do.
